The recent GST revision on motorcycles and scooters has brought big relief to Yamaha buyers. The company has slashed prices across after GST 2.0 and its lineup below 350cc has reduced from 28% to 18%.
These corrected prices are effective from 22 September 2025. The company has passed on the full benefit of the tax cut, which makes both entry-level scooters and premium motorcycles more affordable. Let’s know more about the pricing of each Yamaha two-wheeler.

Yamaha’s supersport R15 gets the sharpest cut. Its price falls by Rs 17,581, from Rs 2,12,020 to Rs 1,94,439. The naked MT-15 V2 also benefits. It now costs Rs 1,65,536, down by Rs 14,964 from its earlier price. Apart from this, the commuter-friendly hybrids see healthy drops too:
These cuts make Yamaha’s motorcycles even more appealing in the mid-size premium segment.
The GST cut also extends to Yamaha scooter lineup. The sporty Aerox 155 Version S now costs Rs 1,41,137, lower by Rs 12,753. Besides, the popular RayZR scooter is now priced at Rs 86,001, a saving of Rs 7,759.
The stylish Fascino has dropped to Rs 94,281, reducing buyer costs by Rs 8,509. These scooters are now even more value-for-money with fuel-efficient engines and stylish designs.
The GST Council’s move to reduce the tax on two-wheelers under 350cc from 28% to 18% has directly benefited Yamaha’s bestsellers. By passing on the savings, Yamaha hopes to boost festive demand and strengthen its hold in the entry-level and premium commuter markets.
