I chose this bike for my daily city commutes, and it has completely transformed my everyday ride. The 149 cc engine is smooth and incredibly quiet. Yamaha’s hybrid assist system gives it an extra boost, making the initial pickup feel punchy while keeping fuel consumption impressively low. The 13.3 Nm torque provides great pulling power at lower speeds. I can easily zip through tight traffic gaps without constantly clicking through the gears.

The FZ-S Fi Hybrid stands out with its sporty design and strong mileage of around 54–56 kmpl. It feels very comfortable for daily city rides and short trips up to 200 km. However, the bike lacks a bit of power on highways, which some riders may notice. In addition, the price feels slightly high for the performance offered, and after-sales service could be better.

Using the FZ-S FI Hybrid for daily rides, I noticed the engine response feels cleaner during stop-and-go traffic. The hybrid assist helps when moving from signals, making rides less tiring. The seat is comfortable and the suspension absorbs bumps well. It feels efficient and easy to live with.
