Last week may have been quiet on new product launches, but we still saw big updates in India’s bike world. TVS, Bajaj, and KTM teased upcoming models and announced exciting changes to keep riders excited.

Moreover, the key highlights include the TVS Apache RTR 160 getting more safety features and the upcoming Pulsar NS400Z with more power. Read on to get all the latest news, useful context, and what these updates mean for you and your next ride.

TVS Apache RTR 160 Hits India with Safety & Emission Upgrades

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 counterpart of the Apache RTR 160 in India, now compliant with stricter OBD‑2B emission norms. It is priced at Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom), it’s around Rs 4,000 costlier than the previous Racing Edition. Most notably, it gains dual-channel ABS, which is rare in this segment.

Apart from this, the bike gets red alloy wheels and retains Riding Modes with a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster and SmartXonnect. TVS aims to make this 160cc bike feel safer and more refined while preserving its sporty character.

2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Coming Soon

Bajaj is gearing up to launch the 2025 Pulsar NS400Z in early July. The key upgrade is a power boost to approximately 42.4 bhp, which is up from 39.5. Moreover, the peak torque is expected to rise to 37 Nm. The motorcycle also features a bi-directional quickshifter promises clutchless upshifts and downshifts.

Other upgrades include wider Apollo H1 tyres, sintered brake pads, switchable traction control, and four riding modes. The pricing is expected to be between Rs 1.90 to 1.92 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it a powerful and well-equipped street fighter.

KTM 390 Adventure X Plus Gets Electronics Upgrade

KTM is set to refresh its 390 Adventure lineup with the new 390 Adventure X Plus. The highlight is its IMU-based electronics suite, featuring switchable Cornering ABS and Traction Control, as well as Cruise Control.

The Plus model will also include three ride modes: Street, Rain, and Off-Road. This update moves the 390 Adventure closer to premium touring standards and makes it more capable and versatile for diverse riding conditions.

Bajaj Offers Discount on Freedom CNG Bike

Bajaj Auto has launched a limited-time Rs 5,000 discount on the base variant of its Freedom CNG motorcycle. The price drops from Rs 90,976 to Rs 85,967. Furthermore, the higher variants with LED features remain priced at Rs 95,981 and Rs 110,976. This Bajaj bike makes the base model more accessible and strengthens Bajaj’s commitment to eco-friendly, cost-effective commuting.
