Royal Enfield is likely to release a new 450cc bike, which is expected to launch in mid-2024 in India. The Roadster 450 motorcycle is based on the Himalayan 450 adventure bike. It is designed for city riding with comfort and safety. 

Moreover, this Royal Enfield bike has been seen many times during spied testing in India. Spy shots reveal its sporty appearance, featuring a muscular fuel tank, wide handlebars, and rear foot pegs. Furthermore, after its launch, it will give tough competition to models like the KTM 390 Duke, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Triumph Speed 400, and TVS Apache RTR 310.

Royal Enfield Roadster 450: Design & Styling 

Roadster 450 bike stands apart from other naked streetfighters due to its classic design elements. This bike is likely to be fitted with a round LED headlamp, a tear-drop-formed fuel tank, a single-piece seat, and a stubby tail. Besides, it will have a similar chassis to the Himalayan 450, but it might have a different subframe.

The bike's styling prompts a traditional roadster feel, and spy images suggest it could feature modern comfort like a round TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The Roadster 450 is expected to feature Google Maps integration, different riding modes and ride-by-wire throttle. 

Royal Enfield Roadster 450: Performance & Hardware

The Roadster 450 will be powered by the engine found in the Himalayan 450. It comes with a 452cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.47bhp @ 8,000rpm and 40Nm of torque @ 5,500rpm. Moreover, its engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear changes.

The bike will have a telescopic fork with gaiters at the front and a monoshock at the rear end. Also, it is expected to use 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with street-oriented tyres. This Royal Enfield bike has disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
