Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the new Tiger 900 Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Desert Edition. These motorcycles join Triumph’s middleweight adventure motorcycle range in India. Moreover, both editions target riders wanting touring comfort and adventure ability together. The Alpine Edition focuses more on highway touring use. However, the Desert Edition aims at riders preferring rough roads and off road travel. Both motorcycles also receive Triumph’s 900cc T-Plane triple engine.
Both motorcycles use Triumph’s 900cc T-Plane triple cylinder engine. The engine delivers 105bhp maximum power output. Moreover, Triumph says the T-Plane firing order improves low and mid range riding feel. Hence, riders may experience smoother performance across different riding conditions. These new editions also give buyers more options without moving towards the larger Tiger 1200 range.

Triumph has priced the Tiger 900 Alpine Edition at Rs. 15.35 lakh, ex-showroom India. Meanwhile, the Tiger 900 Desert Edition carries a starting price of Rs. 16.05 lakh, ex-showroom India.
The Tiger 900 Alpine Edition is designed for riders covering longer highway journeys. Moreover, this version gets a Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black paint finish. Aegean Blue detailing further gives the motorcycle a premium appearance. The motorcycle also receives an Akrapovic silencer and Marzocchi suspension setup. Therefore, Triumph aims to offer better touring support and smoother road-focused riding.

The Tiger 900 Desert Edition carries a stronger adventure focused design. Moreover, it comes with an Urban Grey and Sapphire Black colour combination. Baja Orange accents further add a more aggressive appearance.
This version also receives protection bars for added riding support. In addition, Triumph has fitted Showa long travel suspension and an Akrapovic silencer. The Desert Edition is developed for riders wanting stronger off road capability. Therefore, Triumph has given this motorcycle hardware suited for rough riding conditions.
