Triumph Scrambler 400 X Updated With New Matte Grey Colour

Triumph Motorcycles has added a new colour option to the Scrambler 400 X in India. The bike now comes in a Matte Pewter Grey shade with a Matte Khaki band, giving its scrambler look a fresh touch. However, the company has not made any changes to the bike’s price or mechanical setup.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X Gets New Colour

The new colour option brings a matte grey finish to the fuel tank, while a matte khaki band adds contrast. In addition, the bike continues with its familiar scrambler design, including a round headlamp, teardrop shaped fuel tank and golden USD front forks.

The brown seat also remains part of the design. Perhaps the new colour will appeal to buyers who want a slightly different look without moving away from the bike’s original styling.

Triumph Scrambler 400 X Price Remains Same

The new colour option does not bring any price change. The Triumph Scrambler 400 X continues to cost Rs. 2.65 lakh (ex showroom) in India.

So, buyers can choose the new Matte Pewter Grey colour without paying extra. However, the company has not made any other major changes to the motorcycle with this update.

Engine and Performance

The Scrambler 400 X continues to use a 349cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. It produces 36.49 bhp and 32 Nm of peak torque, while a ride by wire throttle helps manage power delivery.

In addition, the scrambler bike gets switchable traction control and switchable dual channel ABS. It also features LED lighting and a semi digital instrument cluster for everyday convenience.

Wheels and Rough Road Ability

This Triumph motorcycle uses a 19 inch front wheel and 17 inch rear wheel setup. This combination, along with its scrambler design, gives the bike some ability to handle rough roads.

Overall, the new colour adds a fresh visual option, while the price, engine and main features remain unchanged.
