
The scooter market showed strong growth in June 2026, as total sales reached 6,45,764 units, compared to 4,64,578 units in June 2025. This marks a solid 39.00% YoY growth, which clearly shows rising demand among buyers. In addition, better product choices and increasing urban usage have supported this growth.

The Activa remained the top-selling scooter with 2,18,932 units, growing by 19.46% YoY. It alone holds a strong 33.90% market share, which shows its strong trust among customers. Perhaps its reliability and wide service network continue to attract buyers.

The Jupiter secured second place with 1,36,805 units, showing a healthy 26.69% growth. It captured a 21.18% share, which highlights its strong position in the family scooter segment.

The Access 125 recorded 63,121 units, growing by 22.43% YoY. It holds a 9.77% share, which shows consistent demand in the market.

The iQube stood out with 47,331 units and a huge 232.29% growth. This sharp rise clearly shows how fast electric scooters are gaining popularity.
The Chetak sold 40,376 units, growing by 126.02% YoY. In addition, this electric scooter secured a 6.25% share, which shows strong acceptance in the EV segment.
The Ntorq posted 37,762 units with 65.46% growth, while the Dio reached 31,459 units, growing by 29.58%. Both models continue to attract young buyers.
The Rizta recorded 24,742 units with a strong 96.94% growth. Similarly, the RayZR sold 22,782 units, showing 59.60% growth. These numbers highlight increasing competition in this segment.
The Burgman closed the top 10 list with 22,454 units, growing by 42.72% YoY. It offers a premium feel, which perhaps appeals to urban buyers.
Overall, June 2026 turned out to be a strong month for scooters. While petrol scooters like Activa and Jupiter continue to lead, electric scooters such as iQube and Chetak are growing rapidly. However, the coming months will show whether this trend continues at the same pace.
