In May 2026, Royal Enfield sold 94,115 bikes in India, showing 24% growth compared to 75,820 bikes sold in May 2025. For the year so far (YTD 2026-27), sales in India reached 1,98,244 units, a 31% increase from 1,51,822 units last year.
Royal Enfield exported 9,116 bikes in May 2026, a 33% decline from 13,609 units exported in May 2025. YTD exports also saw degrowth of 25%, reaching 18,151 units this year.
For bikes over 350cc, May 2026 sales were 12,447 units, marking a 4% degrowth from 12,937 units in 2025. The YTD sales for this category surged significantly, growing 3% to 25,908 units from 25,214 last year. This category's growth has slowed due to changes in GST rates. However, the recent launch of Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is likely to stimulate demand and support sales growth.
Royal Enfield has seen strong sales growth in May 2026. The bikes under 350cc were sold 90,784 units, a 19% increase from 76,492 in May 2025. The most popular models under this category include Hunter 350, Bullet 350 and Classic 350. Year-to-date (YTD) sales for this category reached 1,90,487 units, up by 26% compared to 1,50,774 last year.
