KTM 390 Adventure X Plus Likely to Launch Soon With More Features

The KTM 390 Adventure X is getting an update very soon. Our dealership sources say the new version will be called the KTM 390 Adventure X Plus. It will likely get some useful touring features while staying budget-friendly.

The new variant is expected to launch within a few weeks and could become a great choice for adventure riders. Moreover, it may offer more value than the current base model with a small price hike. Let’s know more about this motorcycle in detail. 

What Will Be New in the X Plus?

KTM is expected to add switchable traction control and cruise control in the X Plus. These features are already available on the top-spec 390 Adventure and work very smoothly. Moreover, they are perfect for long rides and touring comfort. Our sources say KTM might also add ride modes, though this isn’t confirmed yet.

If added, ride modes will make the bike easier to handle in different road conditions. Besides these upgrades, the engine, chassis, and bodywork will remain the same as before. It may also continue with the same paint schemes as the X model.

Why the Update Makes Sense

The 390 Adventure X is priced at Rs 2.84 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is Rs 76,559 cheaper than the regular 390 Adventure model. However, the X misses out on many useful features found on the top-spec variant.

These include cornering ABS, adjustable suspension, ride modes, and more. Riders wanted a better mix of price and features, and KTM seems to have listened. Furthermore, the X Plus aims to bridge the gap without pushing the price too high.

As per dealer sources, the new X Plus may cost Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 more. Even with this hike, it will still be much cheaper than the top-spec version. The official launch is expected in the coming few weeks. Once launched, the 390 Adventure X Plus could become a new favourite in the ADV segment.
