Honda Launches 2025 CB1000 Hornet in the UK Market

Honda officially launched the 2025 CB1000 Hornet in the UK. Through these, it reintroduces life into its legacy model with better innovation. This technically changed, and performance-updated motorcycle has a great magnificence in its design. It comes with a very powerful 998cc inline-four engine that generates high power out and torque. 
 

Additional features such as a full-colour TFT display, traction control, and riding modes also come with this motorcycle for greater versatility and much more. The bike has also been updated with new suspension and brakes. The CB1000 Hornet features new suspension and braking to inject good riding dynamics into the bike further. It's highly likely to create excitement among highly experienced riders and newcomers as well.

Honda has launched the UK versions of the 2025 CB1000 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP. This litre-class naked streetfighter is in direct competition with the Suzuki GSX-S1000, Yamaha MT-10, and Kawasaki Z900.
 

Pricing, Features, and Performance

2025 CB1000 Hornet standard model comes with a price tag of £8,999 or around ₹9.82 lakh. However, the SP variant is available at a price tag of £9,999 or about ₹10.91 lakh. The CB1000 Hornet SP features an Öhlins TTX36 rear monoshock, fully adjustable Showa forks, and Brembo Stylema front brake callipers. Its sporty look has an aggressive front, presenting as if it is taken from the Ducati Streetfighter V4.
 

Under the skin, there's a detuned version of the 999cc four-cylinder engine from the 2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. That engine produces 150bhp at 11,000rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm, with the SP variant bumping it up to 155bhp and 107Nm. Similar to the Fireblade's engine, which was tuned for high-RPM performance, Honda asserts that the Hornet's motor has been optimised for enhanced low and mid-range power. This tuning aims to improve overall riding dynamics in any condition.
 

Ride Modes and Technology Features

The three preset ride modes available on this Honda CB1000 Hornet—Rain, Standard, and Sport- are joined by two customisable 'User' modes. All these modes provide various levels of power, engine braking, and traction control intervention. In the User modes, riders can adjust these settings to match their preferences. The motorcycle also comes complete with a colour TFT display, LED projector headlamp, and Bluetooth connectivity.
 

The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP features a standard quickshifter and is adorned in a distinctive black and gold JPS-style livery.
