
The market of two-wheelers in India has been undergoing several modifications in recent times, as new products and price adjustments of leading brands have occurred. Bajaj Auto, Triumph Motorcycles, Royal Enfield and KTM have also brought in engine, price and feature changes. There are performance and pricing differences between segments that buyers might observe. Most updates focus on meeting new tax rules and fuel norms. Brands are reducing engine sizes while keeping model identity unchanged.

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 180 comes with updated styling and new features for daily riding needs. The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 1,22,490, ex-showroom. It uses a 178.61cc engine producing 16.77bhp and 15Nm torque output. The bike now supports E20 fuel compatibility for updated fuel standards.
The engine setup remains unchanged and keeps its familiar riding character on city roads and highways. The model now gets LED lighting and a digital console with connectivity support. The Pulsar 180 continues to target daily riders with simple performance and updated features.

Bajaj has reduced the Dominar 400 price after introducing a smaller 349.13cc engine setup. The updated model now costs Rs. 2.03 lakh compared to Rs. 2.40 lakh earlier. Buyers get a price reduction of around Rs. 37,000.
The motorcycle continues with the ‘400’ badge despite the reduced engine capacity. The updated engine produces around 40.4bhp and 33.2Nm torque output. This change brings the bike under the 18 percent GST slab. Pricing becomes more competitive while keeping performance close to the earlier version.

Triumph has updated its 400 range with new 350cc engines across multiple motorcycles in India. The Scrambler 400 X is now priced at Rs. 2.69 lakh, while the Scrambler 400 XC costs Rs. 2.89 lakh. These models now come with slightly lower prices.
The new engine produces 36.49bhp and 32Nm torque output figures. The updated setup needs higher revs to reach peak output. The Speed 400 and Speed T4 also receive similar changes. Hardware and design remain unchanged across all models.

Royal Enfield has introduced the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle with two pricing options in India. The base version costs Rs. 1.99 lakh with battery subscription. The full ownership option costs Rs. 2.79 lakh, ex-showroom.
The motorcycle uses a 15.4kW motor producing 20.6bhp & 60Nm torque output. It offers a claimed range of 154 km per charge. The model also gets a touchscreen display and multiple ride modes. The Flying Flea C6 focuses on city mobility with a lightweight setup.

KTM has increased prices of its 390 range after changes in tax rules for higher capacity motorcycles. The 390 Duke now costs Rs. 3.39 lakh after a price increase of Rs. 40,000. The on-road price has crossed Rs. 4 lakh in several cities.
The 390 Adventure X also sees a price increase and now costs Rs. 3.43 lakh. These changes may shift buyer interest towards lower capacity motorcycles. KTM is planning new 350cc models to adjust pricing under the lower tax slab.
