Ampere Reo VYB Launched in India at Rs. 69,499

Ampere has launched the new Reo VYB electric scooter in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 69,499. The new scooter joins the brand’s entry-level lineup and mainly targets young riders, first-time EV buyers, and people looking for an affordable option for daily city travel. Moreover, its low-speed setup makes it suitable for short and regular commutes.

LFP Battery Offers Up to 80 km Riding Range

The Ampere Reo VYB comes with a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery. This battery type offers better thermal stability and suits Indian weather conditions. In addition, the company claims the scooter delivers a true riding range of up to 80 km on a full charge. Ampere also says the battery can last for up to 1,00,000 km of use. However, the scooter has a top speed of 25 kmph, which makes it more suitable for short city rides than long-distance travel.

Features Focus on Everyday Convenience

Apart from the battery, the Reo VYB offers several practical features for daily use. It comes with 24 litres of under-seat storage, which can easily hold a small bag, charger, rainwear, or other daily items. Furthermore, the scooter gets a colour LCD digital display, a key fob with keyless start, a front disc brake, an LED headlamp, and an LED tail lamp. Ampere has also added a rider footrest for extra comfort.

Four Colour Options and Warranty Details

The new Reo VYB is available in Warm White, Pastel Purple, Dark Grey, and Aqua Metallic colour options. Along with the scooter, buyers will receive a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty. Additionally, Ampere will support customers through more than 400 service touchpoints across India and provide 12x7 customer care assistance.
