Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Ninja 500 in India at a price of Rs. 5,76,000 (ex-showroom). This makes it Rs. 10,000 more expensive than the 2025 model. However, the update mainly focuses on styling rather than major changes.

For 2026, Kawasaki has introduced a new paint scheme called Lime Green. This colour makes the Ninja 500 look similar to other Ninja models like the Ninja 300, Ninja ZX-6R, and Ninja 650. In addition, the bike gets small touches of dark blue and white graphics, which improve its overall look.
However, apart from this new colour, the design of the bike remains the same as before.

Kawasaki has not made any mechanical changes to the Ninja 500. It still uses the same 451cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This engine produces 45.4PS at 9,000rpm and 42.6 Nm at 6,000rpm.
In addition, this Kawasaki bike is now E20 compliant, which means it can run on fuel mixed with ethanol. This update helps meet new environmental rules.
The sports bike continues to use a steel trellis frame. It also gets telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock for suspension. The sports bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with wide tyres for better grip.
In terms of features, it offers dual-channel ABS, all-LED lights, and an LCD display. These features make daily riding easier and safer.
Overall, the 2026 Ninja 500 gets a fresh new colour and a small price increase. However, the engine, features, and hardware remain the same. Perhaps this update is for buyers who want a new look without any major changes.
