Kawasaki has officially launched the 2026 Ninja 1100SX in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 14.42 lakh. This move shows that the brand wants to keep the motorcycle attractive for buyers without adding any extra cost. Deliveries of the updated Ninja 1100SX are expected to begin on December 29, with dealerships across India receiving fresh stock.

What’s New in the 2026 Model?

The biggest update for 2026 is the introduction of a new colour option called Metallic Brilliant Golden Black with Metallic Carbon Grey. This black-and-gold dual-tone shade looks classy and premium, and perhaps gives the bike a more elegant touring feel. However, it replaces the familiar black-and-green look that Kawasaki Bike fans have seen for years.

In addition, the Ninja 1100SX is now E20-compliant, meaning it can run on fuel blended with up to 20 percent ethanol. This update aligns the motorcycle with India’s latest fuel regulations and makes it more future-ready for buyers.

Features and Rider Aids

The Ninja 1100SX continues to offer a strong list of features. These include four riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport and Rider, traction control, adjustable throttle response, and a six-axis IMU. There’s also a bi-directional quickshifter and a 4.3-inch TFT display that further enhance the riding experience.

Engine and Performance Stay the Same

Mechanically, the 2026 Ninja 1100SX remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that produces around 136 hp and 113 Nm of torque. Unlike many high-revving sportbike engines, this motor is tuned for strong mid-range performance, making it practical for city rides as well as long highway journeys.

The engine is housed in an aluminium frame and supported by fully adjustable Showa suspension at both ends. Its brakes include Tokico-branded brakes with dual-channel ABS, offering confident stopping power.
