The Kawasaki Ninja 300 was first launched in India in 2013. It came as a replacement for the older Ninja 250. In June 2024, Kawasaki gave the Ninja 300 a small update. This update brought new colour options, but everything else stayed the same.
Moreover, it gives a premium feel at a reasonable price. It is made to provide a good riding experience in city traffic and on highways. This Kawasaki bike rivals with BMW G310 RR, TVS Apache RR 310 and Yamaha R3.
The Ninja 300 is priced at Rs 3.16 Lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in only one variant. There are three colour options: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey. The Lime Green and Candy Lime Green have sporty graphics, while the grey one looks subtle. All Ninja 300 colours cost the same, so you can choose the one you like best.
The bike has a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine. It produces 38.88 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm torque at 10,000 rpm. The engine is BS6.2 emission-compliant and very smooth. Moreover, it is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.
This setup helps in easy gear shifts and prevents wheel lock during hard downshifts. Moreover, the top speed of Ninja 300 is around 160 kmph.
