The Kawasaki Ninja 300 was first launched in India in 2013. It came as a replacement for the older Ninja 250. In June 2024, Kawasaki gave the Ninja 300 a small update. This update brought new colour options, but everything else stayed the same.

Moreover, it gives a premium feel at a reasonable price. It is made to provide a good riding experience in city traffic and on highways.  This Kawasaki bike rivals with BMW G310 RR, TVS Apache RR 310 and Yamaha R3.

The Ninja 300 is priced at Rs 3.16 Lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in only one variant. There are three colour options: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey. The Lime Green and Candy Lime Green have sporty graphics, while the grey one looks subtle. All Ninja 300 colours cost the same, so you can choose the one you like best.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 Engine Performance

The bike has a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine. It produces 38.88 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm torque at 10,000 rpm. The engine is BS6.2 emission-compliant and very smooth. Moreover, it is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

This setup helps in easy gear shifts and prevents wheel lock during hard downshifts. Moreover, the top speed of Ninja 300 is around 160 kmph. 

Kawasaki Ninja 300 Mileage

The Ninja 300 gives a mileage of around 25 kmpl, depending on riding style. It also has a 17-litre fuel tank. So, it can cover around 425 kilometres on a full tank. This is quite good for both city and highway rides.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 uses a strong tube diamond steel frame. It comes with 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a 5-way adjustable monoshock at the back. Moreover, the bike has a 290mm disc in the front and a 220mm disc at the rear.

It also gets dual-channel ABS for better safety. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tyres. The seat height of Ninja 300 is 780 mm, and the ground clearance is 140 mm, which is good for city roads. Moreover, it weighs 179 kg and has a wheelbase of 1405 mm for stable handling.

This Kawasaki motorcycle features a halogen headlamp and an LED rear lamp. It also features a semi-digital instrument panel that displays speed, fuel, trip, and so on. Further, the motorcycle receives dual-channel ABS, which provides safety while braking.

The Ninja 300 motorcycle has a slipper clutch, which assists in smooth and safe downshifting. Although it lacks any modern features such as LED headlamps or mobile connectivity, it addresses all the fundamental requirements nicely.
