Yamaha has expanded the quickshifter option for the R15 V4 in India. The company has now added the feature to the Matte Pearl White and Racing Blue colour options. Earlier, Yamaha offered the quickshifter only with the Intensity White colour.
In addition, the new quickshifter-equipped variants cost Rs. 1,79,500 (ex showroom, Delhi). This is Rs. 4,650 more than the standard versions of these colours, which cost Rs. 1,74,850.
The Yamaha R15 V4 comes in several colour options, with prices varying depending on the colour and quickshifter availability.

The quickshifter allows riders to shift gears without using the clutch during upshifts. Therefore, it can make gear changes quicker and add more fun to sporty riding.
However, this Yamaha bike does not have the bidirectional quickshifter. This feature allows both clutchless upshifts and downshifts and remains available on the Yamaha YZF-R2.
Perhaps the biggest drawback is that buyers cannot choose the quickshifter as an optional accessory. For example, if a rider wants the Metallic Black colour with a quickshifter, Yamaha does not currently offer that combination.
The addition of the quickshifter to Racing Blue and Matte Pearl White gives buyers more choice. In particular, Racing Blue is one of Yamaha's most recognisable colours, while Matte Pearl White offers a different look.
However, offering the quickshifter as an optional fitment across more colours could make the R15 V4 more flexible for buyers. This would allow riders to choose their preferred colour without giving up the quickshifter feature.
