Ola Electric has announced a major change in its business strategy by opening its sales and service network to dealer partners across India. Earlier, the company mainly sold its products through company owned stores. However, this new step aims to expand its reach and improve customer support in more cities and towns.
The company says dealer partners will now manage local sales, service, and network expansion. In addition, Ola's existing company owned stores will focus more on brand experience and product display. The company expects this new model to grow quickly and reach a wider scale before Diwali 2026.
To support this plan, BVR Subbu, former President of Hyundai Motor India, has returned as Senior Advisor. He will help Ola Electric execute its dealer led expansion strategy across the country.

Ola Electric believes the new dealership model will offer good business opportunities. Dealers will serve more than 10 lakh existing electric two wheeler customers, creating regular service demand. In addition, they will sell the company's complete product range, including electric scooters, motorcycles, and Ola Shakti energy products.
Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director, Ola Electric said, “Now, as the category matures, our job is to bring EVs to every corner of the country, and dealer partners understand their local markets in ways no company-owned network can replicate at that scale.”
