Oben Electric has crossed an impressive 3.2 crore kilometres on Indian roads within two years. This milestone reflects how riders now trust electric bikes for daily commuting needs. These kilometres come from the Rorr lineup, including Rorr, Rorr EZ, and Rorr EZ Sigma models. Riders have used these bikes across cities, highways, and mixed road conditions.

In addition, different weather conditions have tested these motorcycles. This clearly shows that users depend on these bikes regularly, not occasionally. Perhaps the biggest takeaway is that many riders now treat these EVs as their primary vehicles. This trend suggests a gradual shift away from petrol-based commuting options.

Savings and Sustainability Become Key Highlights

The company claims that riders have saved around ₹8 crore in petrol expenses so far. This highlights how electric motorcycles reduce daily running costs significantly. Moreover, Oben estimates that riders have cut down 385 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions. This shows how EV adoption supports cleaner transportation in busy cities.

However, savings alone do not drive adoption. Reliability and consistent performance also play a major role in building user confidence. The data strongly suggests that EVs are no longer experimental products. Instead, they are becoming a practical and economical choice for everyday use.

Expanding Reach Strengthens Customer Trust

Currently, Oben Electric has operations in over 85 cities in India. Some of these include Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, which have significant contribution to the total number of users. Moreover, the company has plans to open 500 showrooms in the next two years. This would provide greater convenience to the users.

Another significant factor is the presence of Oben Care. This provides greater support to the users. It has skilled service technicians, improved service support, and even provides support around the clock. Hence, users feel confident in riding these bikes daily.

Technology and Growth Drive Future Plans

The company has a factory in Bengaluru. In this factory, many critical parts are made. Some of these include LFP batteries, motors, and control. Furthermore, the factory has high standards of quality checks. This ensures that all products have consistent quality. In fact, the quality standards are high, with a straight pass rate of 95%. However, the demand for the product has also increased. In fact, the company has seen a significant increase in demand. In 2025, the company saw a 376% year-over-year growth.
