Oben Electric Rolls Out Its 10,000th Electric Motorcycle: What It Means For Buyers

Oben Electric rolled out its 10,000th electric motorcycle from its Bengaluru manufacturing facility on September 28, 2026. The milestone covers the company’s Rorr motorcycle series, including the latest Rorr Evo.

Oben says the achievement reflects its growing production and delivery capacity in India. The company currently operates more than 150 showrooms across 90 plus cities and 18 states. It also has a manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of one lakh electric motorcycles. The milestone comes as Oben expands production to meet rising demand for the Rorr Evo.

Oben Electric 10,000th Motorcycle Milestone

The Rorr Evo has crossed 25,000 bookings, making it an important demand driver for Oben Electric. Production is already underway, with deliveries taking place across India.

Oben says its Bengaluru facility allows it to design, develop and manufacture several important EV components in house. These include LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers and proprietary software.

This approach gives the company greater control over technology, quality and supply chains, according to Oben Electric.

The production milestone could help Oben expand availability as it increases deliveries across more Indian cities. Its growing retail network also gives customers more access to sales and service facilities.

The company currently has 150 plus showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centres across 90 plus cities. It operates this network across 18 states.

Oben plans to add another 200 exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27. This could further expand access to its electric bikes and after sales support.

Rorr Evo Drives Production Growth

The Rorr Evo has crossed 25,000 bookings, while deliveries are already underway nationwide. Oben is scaling production to meet this customer demand.

The company’s 3.5 acre Bengaluru facility has an annual production capacity of one lakh electric motorcycles. This capacity is significantly higher than its current 10,000 unit production milestone.
