This week brought several important updates across the Indian two wheeler market, with new launches, feature upgrades, and upcoming motorcycle reveals. Bajaj updated the Pulsar NS400Z, Aprilia introduced the SXR GT range, while Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA expanded their festive season portfolios.

In addition, Triumph teased the upcoming Bonneville 400, while Kawasaki revealed key updates for the 2027 Ninja 650. From new technology and engine options to refreshed styling and added equipment, these are the major two wheeler updates to know this week.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Gets New Tech Features

Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar NS400Z with a new 5 inch TFT console featuring Google Maps mirroring, music control, document storage, and a lap timer. The motorcycle is now priced at Rs. 1,90,015 (ex showroom, Delhi).

In addition, the Pulsar NS400Z gets four ride modes, traction control, Sports Shifter, USB Type C port, radial tyres, and Panic Brake Alert. It continues with the 349cc engine producing 40 PS and 33 Nm, paired with a 6 speed gearbox.

Triumph Bonneville 400 Reveal Set for October 6

Triumph has teased four new motorcycles ahead of their global reveal on October 6, with the upcoming Bonneville 400 expected to be among them. The retro roadster is likely to feature a teardrop fuel tank, round headlamp, flat bench seat, swooping fenders, and peashooter style exhaust, along with telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks.

For India, the Bonneville 400 could use the 349cc single cylinder engine, potentially tuned to produce around 29 hp and 31 Nm. It is expected to rival the Honda CB350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350, while the other teased models are likely to include a Street Triple and two Tiger motorcycles.

Kawasaki Ninja 650 Gets Key Updates

The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 650 receives updates to its suspension, brakes, and electronics. The bike has retained its 649cc parallel engine. It now gets a 37mm Showa SFF-BP inverted fork, revised rear shock spring rate, and four piston radial front brake calipers with 300mm discs.

In addition, the Ninja 650 gets an updated 4.3 inch TFT display with navigation and voice command functions through Rideology, while a quickshifter is available as an accessory. The European spec model also gets a 785mm seat height and 194kg kerb weight, with three new colour options.

Aprilia SXR GT Range Unveiled in India

Aprilia has introduced the new SXR GT range in India with 125cc and 175cc engine options. Both scooters get 14 inch wheels, updated styling, telescopic front forks, and five step adjustable rear suspension, while bookings are now open at Aprilia dealerships across the country.

The SXR GT 175 gets a 174.7cc engine, 5 inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and front ABS. Meanwhile, the SXR GT 125 uses a 124.45cc engine with a 5 inch LCD display and front disc brake. Aprilia is also offering touring accessories such as an adjustable windshield, crash guard, and top box.

Jawa, Yezdi and BSA have updated their motorcycle portfolios for the 2026 festive season with new models, colours and feature updates. Jawa expanded its All Stars range with the 42 FJ, 42 Bobber and 42 OG, while Yezdi refreshed its Adventure, Roadster and Scrambler models with new colours and equipment.

BSA also added the Scrambler 650 to its Indian lineup, giving buyers another option in the segment. The updates across all three brands focus on refreshed styling, added equipment, and more choices for buyers during the festive season.
