Honda has launched two new motorcycles in India, including the CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX. The CB125 Hornet is priced at Rs. 1.12 lakh, while the Shine 100 DX comes at Rs. 74,959 (both ex-showroom).
Honda is clearly expanding its 100–125cc segment with sharper design, more features, and strong performance. Bookings for both models are now open across Honda dealerships and on the official website.

Honda has launched the CB125 Hornet at an introductory price of Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom). It is now the most premium 125cc motorcycle in Honda’s India lineup. Moreover, the bike has a 123.94cc engine that makes 10.99 bhp and 11.2 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox and can sprint from 0-60kmph in 5.4 seconds. That makes it one of the fastest motorcycles in its segment today.
The CB125 Hornet is built on a brand-new steel frame. It uses USD front forks and a rear monoshock for better handling and ride quality. Furthermore, the Honda bike features a 240mm petal front disc and a 130mm rear disc. There’s also a single-channel ABS that comes standard for added safety and confidence while braking.
The bike features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. It also has a USB-C charging port for added convenience. Design-wise, the Hornet 125 borrows styling from bigger Hornet bikes in the lineup. It looks aggressive with a low-slung LED headlamp and a sharp tail section. The muscular fuel tank and sporty colours complete the streetfighter look.

This is a more premium and stylish version of the popular Shine 100 commuter bike. The Shine 100 DX offers bold graphics, chrome accents, and an LCD display for added appeal. Moreover, it gets an overall upgrade in comfort and aesthetics over the base Shine 100.
Honda Shine 100 DX is equipped with a 98.98cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine delivers 7.28 bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.04 Nm at 5,000rpm. It comes with a 4-speed gearbox that’s smooth and easy to use in city traffic.
The Shine DX uses telescopic front forks and twin 5-step adjustable rear shocks. Furthermore, it gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with tubeless tyres for better durability. The Shine DX offers a comfortable ride and efficient fuel economy for daily users.
The bike is available in four colours, including Black, Blue, Red, and Grey. Its styling upgrades and trusted performance make it a great option in the 100cc segment.
