Honda Launched the Cross Cub 110 Moped Bike In China

Honda introduced the Cross Cub 110 in China for riders who want a tough and versatile bike. It's like an adventure version of the Super Cub, with off-road tyres, fork gaiters, and more ground clearance. Most parts are borrowed from the Cub, so it's reliable. The 2021 model costs 1.40 Lakh in the Chinese market, and it comes in various colour options. 

Moreover, people discuss whether they prefer the Cross Cub's rugged appearance or the CT125's features. Even if it doesn't come to the US, the Cross Cub 110 appeals to a tough and stylish moped bike. Moreover, it is likely to launch in the Indian market very soon.

Honda Cross Cub 110: Engine Performance

The Cross Cub 110 moped is powered by a 109cc air-cooled 4-stroke OHC single-cylinder engine. t delivers a maximum power output of 7.8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm. It offers more convenience with both a Kickstarter and an electric start. This moped bike has a bore of 50mm and a stroke of 55.6mm, and the engine achieves a compression ratio of 9.0:1. Moreover, the engine lubrication is managed by a combined cascade pumping system. 

It is equipped with electronically controlled fuel injection (PGM-FI), and a full transistor-type battery ignition system handles ignition. The transmission is a 4-speed setup, ensuring smooth acceleration and easy manoeuvrability in city traffic. Also, this moped bike runs at a top speed of 85 kmph.

The Honda Cross Cub 110 features a sturdy backbone frame, providing stability and durability for various riding conditions. Its front suspension has a telescopic fork and a swing arm-type suspension at the rear end, enhancing comfort and control during rides. Its 4.3-litre fuel tank provides ample range for urban commuting and short trips.

Honda Cross Cub 110 competes with rivals like the Kawasaki KLX110 and Yamaha TW125, which excel off-road. However, the Cross Cub has a different vibe. Its retro design, with rounded headlights and a bulky fuel tank, evokes classic cub bikes. It offers a comfy, upright riding position. While it's capable on easy trails, it's more about smooth roads and stylish cruising. Moreover, it has eye-catching paint and shiny chrome parts that make it stand out.
