The Indian electric vehicle market is moving toward a sustainable future. With rising fuel costs, ecological worries, and government incentives, electric scooters are becoming a favoured decision for urban versatility. Moreover, EV makers are launching new scooters in the market.

Here are the 7 upcoming electric vehicles in India

1. TVS Electric Scooter

TVS Motors will launch a new electric two-wheeler soon in the market. It could be a sporty or budget-friendly option to compete with Ather and Ola. Moreover, rumours say that it could be the TVS iQube electric ST variant. This scooter will offer a range of 145km/charge after charging it for 4 hours and 6 minutes. Also, it has a 5.1 kWh battery that allows you to run it at a top speed of 82 kmph.

2. Ather Rizta

The Bengaluru-based company is ready to expand its portfolio with the launch of the Rizta, a family-oriented electric scooter. Expected to show up in no less than a half year, the 1is likely to feature an agreeable design, ample space, and an emphasis on common sense for ordinary drives.

3. Honda Activa-Based Electric Scooter

Honda is ready to enter the EV market with an electric version of its famous Activa scooter. The concept displayed at CES 2024 hints at a design that holds Activa's recognisable outline while consolidating modern features. Honda is supposed to focus on range and reasonableness over high speeds, making it a solid competitor for the mass market.

4. New Ola Scooter

Ola Electric disturbed the market with its S1 and S1 scooters. A new patent document reveals another scooter designed specially for the business area. This could be a rough, utilitarian scooter catering to conveyance, strategies, and rental organisations.

5. Suzuki Burgman Electric

Suzuki displayed its e-Burgman electric scooter model at the Tokyo Motor Show a year ago. This maxi-scooter idea flaunts a sporty design, noteworthy range, and high-level features, promising an exceptional electric visiting experience. While a launch in India hasn't yet been confirmed, it can review the top-of-the-line electric scooter segment.

6 & 7 Hero Vida Electric Scooter

Hero MotoCorp is entering the EV game through its new brand, Vida. Two electric scooters catering to different segments are expected to be launched soon. One could be a sporty performance scooter, while the other might be a more affordable option targeting everyday commuters.

These upcoming launches showcase the diverse range of electric scooters that are set to transform the Indian market. From family-friendly options to performance-oriented machines and commercial-focused solutions, there is something for everyone. The focus on practicality, range, and affordability are key trends, indicating a shift towards making EVs accessible to a wider audience.
