The Indian two wheeler segment recorded multiple updates during early April 2026 across bikes & scooters. Moreover, brands introduced price changes, new variants, and upcoming models in different categories. Therefore, buyers may notice slight cost increases along with added features in selected products. However, most updates do not include major mechanical changes. In addition, companies are adjusting engine sizes and pricing strategies due to the new financial year and revised tax structure.
The last week brings a mix of price revisions, new variants, & upcoming model sightings. Moreover, brands are focusing on feature additions instead of major design changes. Therefore, buyers will see familiar models with slight improvements and updates. In addition to that, engine downsizing and pricing adjustments reflect current market trends.

Yamaha MT-15 V2 has received a small price increase from April 1, 2026 across all variants. Moreover, the hike ranges between Rs. 740 and Rs. 800 depending on the variant selected. Therefore, buyers will now pay slightly more for the same model lineup. However, there are no updates in engine, design, or feature setup. The bike comes with a 155cc liquid cooled engine producing 18.10 bhp and 14.1 Nm. Moreover, features like TFT display, navigation, and dual channel ABS remain unchanged.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 has been updated with new design elements and added features for 2026. In addition, the scooter now gets a sharper LED headlight and revised rear styling. Therefore, the overall appearance feels slightly updated compared to the previous version. However, the maxi style design continues without major changes.
The Ride Connect variant starts at Rs. 1.02 lakh, while the TFT variant costs Rs. 1.13 lakh. Moreover, the scooter now includes a TFT display, keyless system, and increased storage space. In addition, the 124cc engine continues with slight refinement for smoother riding.

Triumph Speed 400 has been spotted testing with a smaller 349cc engine before its launch. Moreover, the design and styling remain similar to the current version. Therefore, the main update comes in the engine configuration.
However, this change is linked to revised GST rules, where bikes above 350cc attract higher taxes. In addition, the new engine may produce slightly lower performance figures than the current 398cc setup. Hence, pricing may remain close while helping brands manage costs better.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 lineup now includes a new APEX variant with updated setup. Moreover, this variant offers sportier ergonomics and new road focused tyres. Therefore, handling and riding posture feel more aggressive compared to other variants.
In addition, Dash and Flash variants receive new tyres and added features for better usability. However, the engine and hardware remain unchanged across the lineup. The prices start from Rs. 2.49 lakh and go up to Rs. 2.72 lakh.

Simple Arrive has been spotted during testing with a more commuter focused design. Moreover, the scooter features a longer seat and wider floorboard for daily use. Therefore, it appears more comfort oriented than the sporty Simple One.
However, the scooter uses a simple suspension setup with twin rear shocks and a rear drum brake. In addition, battery options may be shared with existing models for decent range figures. Hence, pricing is expected to stay lower, targeting a wider audience.
