Yamaha R15 V4, MT-15 MotoGP Edition Launched; FZ-S Fi Range Gets New Colour Options

India Yamaha Motor has brought back the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition for the R15 V4 and MT 15 Version 2.0 in India. The company announced the update after strong customer demand for its racing inspired motorcycles.

Yamaha has also expanded the FZ colour palette with new paint schemes. The changes focus on styling and buyer choice rather than mechanical upgrades.

Yamaha MotoGP Editions Return

The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition is now available on the R15 V4 and MT 15 Version 2.0 once again. Yamaha says the decision follows strong customer demand from buyers who wanted the special racing inspired models back.

The Yamaha bikes feature the brand's signature MotoGP inspired livery across the tank shrouds, fuel tank, and side panels. They also receive race themed graphics and premium styling elements. However, Yamaha has not announced any changes to the engine or performance.

The R15 V4 continues to rival the KTM RC 200, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, and Hero Karizma XMR. Meanwhile, the MT 15 Version 2.0 competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and KTM 200 Duke.

Yamaha FZ Range Gets New Colours

Yamaha has also refreshed its FZ lineup with new colour options.

• The 2026 FZ S Fi Hybrid gets a new Ice Storm colour.
• The Matte Black variant receives updated sporty graphics.
• The FZ S Fi gets a new Metallic Black colour option.

These changes give buyers more choices while maintaining the motorcycles' existing specifications.

The latest update mainly benefits buyers looking for fresh styling instead of new hardware. Riders considering rivals from TVS, Suzuki, KTM, and Bajaj now have more colour options from Yamaha.
