Bajaj Discontinued Pulsar N160 Single-channel ABS Variant, Know More!

Published at November 26, 2023 | By BikeJunction

The 2-wheeler company Bajaj has discontinued the single-channel ABS variant due to the low demand. This model was already phased out some months ago. Therefore, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 is now only available with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Pulsar N160 is powered by a 164.82cc engine, producing 15 bhp & 14.65 Nm torque. Based on the same platform, the model shares several features with the discontinued variant, including a digital instrument cluster, LED headlights & a single-channel ABS.

The Pulsar N160 is now available in 3 colour options - Brooklyn Black, Caribbean Blue & Racing Red. This variant is now priced at Rs. 1,30,560. Besides, this variant competes against the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3.0, Suzuki Gixxer & the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in the 150-160cc segment.

Key Points:

  • The Bajaj launched Pulsar N160 last year in 2 variants:

    • A single-channel ABS variant, priced at Rs. 1,22,854.
    • A dual-channel ABS variant priced at Rs. 1,27,853.

  • The dual-channel ABS variant is safer compared to the single-channel ABS. Besides, the price difference between the 2 variants was merely Rs. 5,000, which is not potential enough to make the customers compromise with safety.
