Kawasaki has introduced the updated 2027 Z650 S in overseas markets with three new colour options. The company has kept the mechanical setup unchanged, so the motorcycle continues with the same engine, features, and overall design. However, the new colours give the bike a fresh look for the upcoming model year.
The Z650 S is the more comfortable version of the regular Z650. It offers a more upright riding position and a seat designed to provide better comfort for both the rider and pillion. However, Kawasaki currently does not sell the Z650 S in India and offers only the standard Z650 in the country.

The 2027 Kawasaki Z650 S gets three new colour combinations. Among them, the Pearl Blizzard White/Candy Lime Green stands out with white body panels, a green chassis, and a matching front fender.
In addition, the Candy Persimmon Red/Metallic Carbon Grey gives the motorcycle a brighter appearance. Meanwhile, the Ebony/Metallic Carbon Grey offers a simpler and darker look for riders who prefer a more subtle finish.

This Z650 S focuses on comfort and easier riding compared with the standard Kawasaki Z650. Kawasaki has moved the footpegs to create a more relaxed knee angle. Moreover, the motorcycle gets a new handlebar that puts the rider in a more upright position.
The Kawasaki motorcycle also gets a redesigned seat. The front section is wider and thicker, while Kawasaki has made the pillion section 20mm wider and added 10mm more padding depth.
In addition, riders can choose from two optional seats. The Style seat adds more comfort, while the Ergo Fit seat lowers the seat height by 20mm. This can make it easier for shorter riders to reach the ground.
The 2027 Kawasaki Z650 S continues with the same 649cc parallel twin engine. The engine offers smooth power delivery and strong performance in the mid-range, making it suitable for both city rides and highway use.
Last year, Kawasaki also added a traction control system to the Z650 S. This system helps improve grip and stability when road conditions change.
The Z650 S gets a 4.3 colour TFT display that makes important information easier to read. Riders can also connect their smartphones through Bluetooth and access notifications and riding information using the Kawasaki Rideology app.
Furthermore, Kawasaki offers a bi directional quickshifter as an optional accessory. It allows riders to shift gears up and down without using the clutch, adding more fun to the riding experience.
For now, Kawasaki has introduced the new 2027 Z650 S colours in overseas markets. However, the company does not currently sell the Z650 S variant in India. Indian buyers get the standard Kawasaki Z650 instead.
