Kawasaki has launched the 2027 KLX230R S in India at a price of Rs. 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model costs Rs. 10,000 more than the earlier version. However, the company has added some useful updates to improve comfort and riding experience.
In addition, these changes make the bike more suitable for off-road riding. Riders who enjoy trail riding may find these updates helpful in daily use.

Kawasaki has made changes to the riding position. The handlebar is now 25mm more forward. Because of this, riders may get better control while standing and riding on rough roads.
In addition, the company has increased the fuel tank size. The Kawasaki KLX230R S now holds 7.6 litres instead of 6.6 litres. This means riders can travel longer distances without stopping often for fuel. Perhaps this will help riders who go on long trail rides.

Kawasaki has also updated the seat for more comfort. The new seat uses thicker cushioning, which helps during long rides. However, even with more padding, the company has reduced the seat height by 20mm.
Because of this, shorter riders may find the bike easier to handle. In addition, the flat seat design remains the same, which keeps the riding position comfortable.

This Kawasaki bike continues with the same 233cc air-cooled engine. It produces 19.57 bhp power and 20.6 Nm torque. In addition, it comes with a six-speed gearbox for smooth performance.
The KLX230R S also keeps its off-road features like long-travel suspension and knobby tyres. It uses a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup, which helps in better control on rough surfaces.

This is an off-road bike and is not road legal. However, it remains a good choice for riders who want a dedicated trail bike. In conclusion, Kawasaki has added small but useful updates to make the bike more comfortable and easier to ride.
