2025 KTM 390 Duke Launched With New Features and Colour

KTM has introduced the 2025 model of its best-selling 390 Duke in India. The motorcycle now boasts new features and a new colour variant named Ebony Black. Additionally, KTM has maintained the price at Rs 2,95,000 (ex-showroom).

New additions to the list are cruise control and a crawl feature, which further enhance its comfort for extended highway cruising and city commuting. Let's know more about this new bike.

Cruise Control for a Smoother Ride

2025 KTM 390 Duke One of the largest changes in the 2025 KTM 390 Duke is the inclusion of cruise control. This feature was introduced for the first time in the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure. It enables riders to keep a desired speed without constantly having to touch the throttle. This makes long highway rides more comfortable and less tiring for the rider.

It is easy to activate the cruise control. There is a special button on the handlebar switchgear. Once switched on, riders are able to change the speed by means of a rocker switch. To turn off, just apply the brake. But it is necessary to keep an eye open since the system does not correct for road hazards automatically.

Crawl Function for City Traffic

KTM has also included a crawl mode on the 390 Duke. It is a function that enables the motorcycle to roll at slow speeds by simply utilising the clutch without having to twist the throttle. It is particularly convenient when riding in slow traffic in the city. The function eliminates engine stalling, which makes riding through congested slow-moving traffic very easy.

This feature was first seen on the KTM 390 Adventure and has now made its way to the Duke. It adds to the bike’s practicality, especially for urban riders who frequently deal with congested roads.

Stylish New Ebony Black Colour

The 2025 KTM 390 Duke now comes in a striking new colour option called Ebony Black. This colour scheme features a glossy black base with bright orange graphics. The fuel tank is finished in matte grey, adding to its aggressive look.

KTM continues to offer the existing Atlantic Blue and Electronic Orange Metallic colour options as well. The latest addition gives buyers more variety to choose from.

Engine and Features Remain Unchanged

Apart from these new additions, the KTM 390 Duke remains the same mechanically. It is powered by a 398.63cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 45.3 bhp at 8,500rpm and 39Nm at 6,500rpm. The bike continues to feature a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter for smoother gear shifts.

The bike’s suspension setup includes WP Apex inverted front forks and a monoshock at the rear, both of which are adjustable. Furthermore, the bike comes with 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

The bike also retains its 5-inch TFT display, which supports smartphone connectivity, music controls, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. Other rider aids include launch control, cornering traction control, and cornering ABS.

In terms of competition, the KTM 390 Duke goes up against the Yamaha MT-03, Aprilia Tuono 457, Triumph Speed 400, and TVS Apache RTR 310. Compared to these models, the KTM offers excellent performance, advanced features, and aggressive styling at a competitive price.
