Yamaha XSR 155 Gets Price Update in India with Revised Variant Costs

Yamaha Motor India has updated the pricing of the XSR 155 bike in India. The most colour variants now cost Rs. 1,000 more than before. However, the entry-level Metallic Blue variant remains unchanged. Below are the variant-wise pricing of the XSR 155.

• Metallic Blue variant is still priced at Rs. 1,49,990. 
• Vivid Red now costs Rs. 1,53,990.
• Metallic Grey variant is priced at Rs. 1,57,990.
• Metallic Black and Greyish Green Metallic now costs Rs. 1,59,990. 

This price revision reflects rising input and logistics costs. However, the increase feels minor compared to other bikes in the segment. Buyers may not see this as a major concern.

Engine Performance & Hardware

The XSR 155 uses a 155cc liquid-cooled engine with VVA technology. This engine delivers 18.1bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque, which offers smooth and responsive performance. In addition, the engine pairs with a six-speed gearbox. This setup helps in better control during city and highway rides. Riders also benefit from an assist and slipper clutch.

The cruiser bike uses a Deltabox frame for better stability. This frame improves handling and ride balance. In addition, the front gets upside-down forks. Meanwhile, the rear uses a monoshock suspension setup. Together, they offer a smooth and stable ride.

The Yamaha motorcycle comes with several modern features. It includes full LED lighting for better visibility. The digital instrument console shows all key riding information.
