2-Wheeler OEMs Sales Figures & Market Share in April 2026

Hero MotoCorp secured first place with 552,145 units sold in April 2026. This is an 7.73% incline from 512,520 units sold in April 2025. This translates to a market share decline of 4.67%.

Honda bikes is the second top-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in April 2026 with total retail sales of 472,289 units. This marks a slight increase of 15.82% from 407,791 units in April 2025. The company's market share increased by 2.48%.

TVS registered a strong performance with 368,853 units sold in April 2026, compared to 310,734 units last year. This represents a YoY growth of 18.70% and an increase in market share of 5.04%.

Bajaj Auto sold 201,777 units in April 2026, up from 183,808 units in April 2025. Its market share dropped to 2.86%, signalling a dip in competitiveness or product demand compared to the previous year.

Royal Enfield sold 96,798 motorcycles in April 2026, improving on 82,593 units in April 2025. As a result, the sales increased by 17.20%, highlighting strong demand in the mid-size premium segment.

Suzuki two-wheeler recorded 90,401 unit sales in April 2026, showing a decline of 2.29% from 92,517 units in April 2025. However, the market share declined by 13.54%.

Yamaha sold 63,433 units in April 2026 compared to 52,595 in April 2025. Its market share increased slightly by 20.61%, indicating a small contraction in its customer base or channel movement.

Ather Energy posted a strong performance with 27,034 units sold in April 2026, up from 13,332 units last year. Its sales jumped to 102.78%, making it one of the standout performers in the EV segment.

Ola Electric saw a significant drop in sales from 19,824 units in April 2025 to 12,171 units in April 2026. Consequently, its sales declined by 38.60%, reflecting weakened demand or strategic adjustments.

With 6,884 units sold in April 2026 compared to 4,003 units in April 2025, Greaves Electric experienced an increase of 71.97%. Its market share also increased by 52.17%.

Classic Legends sold 4,520 units in April 2026, compared to 2,477 units in April 2025. This shows an increase in sales by 82.48%.

River Mobility has recorded the highest sales in April 2026 with 301.88% increase in sales, selling 3,199 units. In comparison, it sold 796 units in April 2025.

The “Others Including EV” segment posted 10,762 unit sales in April 2026, up from 8,706 units in April 2025. Its market share increased to 23.62%.
