Weekly Updates of the Launches, Unveils, and Spies of Bikes

A few new products were introduced in the past week, along with sneak peeks at several eagerly awaited bikes. New Bajaj Chetak Launch

The Chetak 35 series was introduced by Bajaj Auto in India. As of right now, it is the most feature-loaded Chetak model on an entirely new chassis. Three variants have been introduced: 3501, 3502, and 3503. Bajaj has only revealed the prices of the mid-spec 3502 trim (Rs 1.20 lakh) and the top-spec Chetak 3501 (Rs 1.27 lakh) at the moment. The new 3.5kW battery, which has a 153km certified range, is installed in the floorboard region of the new platform. Additionally, a brand-new 4kW permanent magnet motor can accelerate the scooter to a maximum speed of 73 kmph.
 

Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Launch

At a price of Rs 13.49 lakh, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX was launched in India. Numerous modifications have been made to the Japanese sports touring bike. Its increased engine displacement to 1099cc is the most notable modification. At 9,000 rpm, it produces 134.1 bhp, and at 7,600 rpm, it produces 113 Nm. Moreover, the engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox and a modern, quick shifter that starts at 1,500 rpm. This will make it possible to utilise the quick shifter even when moving slowly through the city.
 

Pro Dakar Edition Launch of Hero Xpulse 200 4V

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition was launched with a price tag of Rs. 1.68 lakh. In comparison to the standard Hero Xpulse 200 4V, this limited edition motorbike has several design alterations. There is a noticeable sticker of the legendary Dakar insignia on the fuel tank. Additionally, unique Hero graphics on the side panels and a livery inspired by Dakar on the body panels. Furthermore, a sleek shade of bronze is even used to polish the engine housing.
 

Spied Testing of KTM 300 SMC R

For the first time, the soon-to-be-launched KTM 390 SMC R was seen undergoing testing in India. The motorbike was introduced to the world at EICMA 2024 in November. The test mule's sighting shows that KTM is thinking about launching the 390 SMC R in India. The 390 SMC R is anticipated to be introduced by KTM sometime in the first part of 2025. Additionally, the 390 Adventure S and 390 Enduro R will be introduced in India in January 2025. Before releasing the bike in India, KTM wants to see how the market reacts.
 

Showcase of Yamaha XSR 155

At the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, the Yamaha XSR 155 is probably going to be on display. The modern-retro motorbike is a hot topic in the nation, and Yamaha is considering bringing it to India. Basically, Yamaha India would benefit greatly from the XSR 155. The reason is it is built on the MT-15 platform, which is already manufactured in this country. By doing so, Yamaha should be able to get into the Indian market for modern-retro motorcycles while also controlling expenses and, eventually, pricing.
