Exciting New Launches

Last week, some of the amazing motorcycles and scooters were launched in the Indian market. BMW CE 02 electric scooter was launched at the outset with an ex-showroom price of ₹4.50 lakh. Meanwhile, Suzuki rolled out the GSX-8R; the updated KTM 200 Duke boasts a new TFT display, which will leave you with an assured bang. 
 

BMW CE 02 launch

BMW CE 02 electric scooter is launched in India with an introductory tag of ₹ 4.50 Lakh. In fact, it is placed below the CE 04 and, thus, is more about seeking out users who would want a user-friendly city scooter. The air-cooled synchronous motor in the CE 02 is paired with a 3.92 kWh battery and is reportedly able to deliver 108 km (as certified by ICAT). It can go to a top speed of 95 km/h and, thus, accelerates easily at highway speeds.
 

2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R arrives at dealership

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R of 2025 has begun hitting showrooms well ahead of the actual announcement. From our dealer sources, the new bike has seen its price hiked to a modest ₹34,000 from the outgoing model, priced at ₹17.13 lakh. Mechanical specifications are the same; however, the new one has two new colour schemes.
 

Suzuki GSX-8R launch

Suzuki has introduced its mid-weight sportbike in India, the GSX-8R. The bike cost ₹9.25 lakh ex-showroom. On paper, it will compete with the Triumph Daytona 660, and Kawasaki Ninja 650. The motorcycle gets a steel diamond-style frame paired with a 776cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit sporting a 270-degree crank. It will churn out 81.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm, besides a peak torque of 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm.
 

Updated KTM 200 Duke launch

KTM India has introduced the updated 200 Duke, which now boasts a new 5-inch TFT display. The new console comes with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation through Bluetooth with the KTM Connect app. It further offers incoming call notifications, Supermoto ABS, and a customisable colour theme for the shift RPM, among others.
 

2024 Kawasaki KLX 230 India launch

Kawasaki KLX 230 S dual-sport motorcycle is likely to hit the Indian market soon for sale. The company has been busy testing the bikes on local roads, and the test mules offer a high level of localisation. That should help Kawasaki India price it competitively—very much in the range of Hero Xpulse 200 4V at ₹2 lakh.
