TVS Motor Company has made changes to the pricing of its popular XL 100 moped model in the Indian market. This means that all models of the moped are slightly pricier than before. However, the price rise is not substantial and is not expected to unsettle potential buyers. The new prices will be applicable to the ex-showroom price in Delhi.

Revised Prices Across the XL 100 Range

The price increase applies to all variants of the TVS XL 100 series. Almost all variants have seen an increase of Rs. 400, while the Comfort i-Touchstart variant has seen a slightly lower price increase of Rs. 350. The starting price of the base Heavy Duty variant is now Rs. 44,550, which makes it one of the cheapest two-wheelers in the market. Moreover, the i-Touchstart variants, which come with the convenience of electric start, are priced between Rs. 56,150 and Rs. 58,850, depending on the variant.

Perhaps the most luxurious variant in the series, the XL 100 Heavy Duty Alloy variant, is now priced at Rs. 60,450. This variant had gained popularity after TVS launched alloy wheels on this model earlier in 2025.

Why the XL 100 Still Makes Sense

The TVS XL 100 remains one of the most distinctive models in the entry-level utility segment, even after the price revision. It is most commonly used by small business owners, delivery boys, and rural consumers because of its robust build quality and simple design. Additionally, the flat seat, robust carrier, and high load-carrying capacity make it an ideal vehicle for various uses.

Further, TVS has also worked towards enhancing the comfort and convenience aspects of the vehicle over the years. The i-Touchstart system, improved seat cushioning, and braking performance have all contributed to making the XL 100 a more pleasant vehicle to own.

Engine & Performance Remain Unchanged

The XL 100 still employs the same 99.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It churns out 4 bhp and 6.5 Nm of peak torque, which may not seem impressive on paper but is more than adequate for its intended use. The engine is famous for its fuel efficiency, low operating costs, and reliability.
