TVS Motor Company has completed the 2026 edition of its popular One Make Championship selections. The final rounds took place at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai. Before the finals, TVS Racing conducted selection rounds in four different cities across India. As a result, riders from multiple regions got a chance to join the championship.

The 2026 championship included five different categories. These categories were Media, Women, Rookie, Electric, and Apache RR 310 Experts. In total, 120 riders qualified for the final selection stage.

Riders Received Professional Training Before Final Evaluation

TVS Racing focused heavily on rider improvement and safety during the selection process. In addition, experienced trainers guided participants before the final qualifying sessions. Many riders entered a racetrack for the first time. Therefore, TVS introduced detailed riding sessions and track guidance programs for better confidence and control.

The company also supplied FIM-certified helmets and racing suits to every participant. Furthermore, riders used Alpinestars airbag vests during practice sessions. This extra safety equipment helped participants feel more comfortable on the circuit. Meanwhile, TVS continues to perform strongly in the Indian market, with several models featuring among the brand’s highest-selling products in April 2026

The final rounds happened on separate days for each category. The Young Media category took place on 15 May. Meanwhile, the Women category happened on 16 May. The Rookie and RR 310 categories concluded on 17 May.

Apache RTR 310 Added More Excitement To Media Category

One major highlight this year was the addition of the Apache RTR 310 race motorcycle. TVS bikes introduced this model specifically for the Media category. The motorcycle delivered sharp handling and strong acceleration on the racetrack. In addition, its aggressive riding position improved rider confidence during fast corners.

Perhaps this change made the Media category more competitive than before. The Apache RTR 310 also gave journalists a fresh racing experience compared to earlier seasons.

TVS Continues To Support Young Racing Talent

TVS Racing has continued supporting young riders through its One Make Championship program for several years. The platform helps beginners understand racing techniques in a safer environment.

Moreover, the championship allows talented riders to learn directly from professional racers and instructors. This experience can help many participants build future motorsport careers.

TVS Racing also plans to publish detailed reports and riding experiences from the Media category soon. The company hopes these events will inspire more riders to enter Indian motorsport.
