TVS Motor Company has unveiled the production-ready TVS M1-S electric maxi scooter at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. The company first showcased its concept version at the same event in 2025. Now, the production-ready model returns with a full-size design, connected features and an electric powertrain. TVS has developed this scooter mainly for European urban riders who want comfort, storage space and responsive performance for daily commutes and longer journeys.
The TVS M1-S comes with a 4.2 kWh battery, offers an expected range of 120 km and reaches a top speed of 105 km/h. In addition, it gets a 7-inch TFT display, 26-litre under-seat storage, cruise control and dual-channel ABS.

The TVS M1-S features a full-size maxi scooter design with a focus on comfort and stability. TVS has developed its styling around three principles: Presence, Tamed Emotions and Framed Surfaces. Its large body panels, flowing curves and sharp design details give it a distinct appearance. Moreover, the front gets LED lighting with distinctive position lights.
The scooter has an overall length of 1,970 mm and a wheelbase of 1,350 mm. It also offers an 800 mm seat height and 170 mm ground clearance. The European launch model will come in Spectre Black, while the company plans to introduce more colour options later.

The electric scooter gets a 7-inch TFT display that shows important riding information. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and onboard LTE connectivity. Furthermore, riders can connect the scooter to an Android or iOS app and access features such as app-based starting, seat opening, find-my-bike and service updates.
The onboard LTE connection also supports over-the-air software updates. This means the scooter can receive software updates remotely without depending on the rider's phone connection.

The new TVS electric maxi scooter offers 26 litres of under-seat storage, which can accommodate one full-face helmet. Riders can also use this space to carry a work bag or shopping items. In addition, the front section gets two storage spaces.
The left-side glovebox includes a USB-A charging socket, while the open compartment can hold a 500 ml water bottle or other small items. The scooter also features key-fob starting and app-based seat opening for added convenience.
The TVS electric scooter uses a 4.2 kWh lithium-ion battery with NMC chemistry. It powers a chassis-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that produces 5 kW rated power and 12.5 kW peak power. The scooter can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 3.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 105 km/h.
TVS expects the M1-S to deliver a 120 km range based on internal testing and its current riding-mode configuration. Moreover, its 1.8 kW charging system can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 75 minutes using an onboard charger and a household socket.
The TVS M1-S uses a tubular steel frame with a telescopic front fork and dual adjustable rear suspension units. It rides on 14-inch wheels with 110/70 front and 120/70 rear tyres. In addition, tyre pressure monitoring helps riders keep track of pressure levels.
For braking, the scooter gets 230 mm disc brakes at both ends. The specification also lists dual-channel ABS and cruise control. However, TVS notes that the final specifications may change after homologation.
TVS Motor Company has not announced any India launch plans for the M1-S yet. The company has unveiled the production-ready model ahead of its European market launch. However, its 4.2 kWh battery, 120 km expected range, large storage space and connected features make it an interesting electric scooter to watch. Indian buyers will have to wait for an official announcement from TVS regarding its possible entry into the domestic market.
