On 3rd April 2025, Ola Electric announced a first-of-its-kind strategy called #HyperDelivery, which enables same-day registration and delivery of vehicles. According to the company, they already started a pilot of #HyperDelivery in Bangalore and then scaled it up pan india in a phased manner. The #HyperDelivery concept was made feasible by Ola Electric's strategic choice to include AI in its vehicle registration system. By handling it in-house and utilising automation, the business has significantly accelerated the registration process. Delays caused by the involvement of outside agents have also been eliminated.
Customers don’t have to wait for days or weeks to receive their vehicles. They can now purchase their vehicle from the brand’s website or Ola Electric Store and receive their registered vehicle within hours.
Ola Electric released strong sales data earlier this week, claiming to have registered 23,430 units in March 2025. However, there were brief difficulties when in-house vehicle registrations were implemented in February
Ola Electric is establishing new standards for the automobile industry by introducing a quick-commerce-like experience.
A spokesperson of Ola Electric said, “We have significantly cut the processing time of registering the vehicles through AI-led automation and by moving the registration process completely in-house. We are excited to announce #HyperDelivery, which has completely transformed the vehicle purchase & delivery experience in the automotive segment. With this, we are ensuring a much smoother purchase experience for our customers, eliminating tedious purchase processes and longer delivery timelines.”
