New Activa 6G 'Smart' model in the works? Here’s What to Expect!

HMSI (Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India) is all set to debut a new Activa 6G ‘Smart’ model on January 23, 2023. According to the documents released by the Road Transport Authorities, there is a strong hint that Honda would add more features to the Activa 6G, which has long been India’s best-selling scooter. 

Does this also imply that the scooter will be equipped with linked technology, as are most electric scooters? It would undoubtedly help to compete with the playing field with the likes of Ather, TVS iQube, Ola and others!

According to the papers, the Activa’ H-Smart’ would also have an anti-theft alarm system in addition to the other features. Another thing to note is that the Activa H-gross Smart’s vehicle weight is 279 kg, which is 1 kg lighter than other Activa 6G models. This is due to the inclusion of new technologies.

The Honda Activa H-Smart produces 7.73 bhp at 8,000 rpm, which is somewhat greater than the output of other models, which is 7.68 bhp at 8,000 rpm. Other parameters are expected to remain unchanged. Activa 6G costs start at Rs. 73,359 at the moment (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Smart model of the Activa 6G is expected to cost more than the previous variations.
