Kawasaki Unveils Another 40th Anniversary Special Edition - Ninja ZX-4RR!

As Kawasaki celebrates its 40th anniversary, it has unveiled another special edition model - Ninja ZX-4RR for the international markets. This is the second special edition model the brand has taken the wraps off. Only a few days ago, we brought you the news of the special 40th-anniversary edition of ZX-10R. 
 

Visual Styling

This new edition ZX-4RR boasts major styling and visual alterations by the brand over its standard model. The bike comes with a vivid colour combination of its signature green colour with running shades of white and blue. The alloy wheels on the bike have the signature green colour with the Kawasaki’s branding all across the fairing. And to give this bike something special, Kawasaki has added a “40th Anniversary” sticker on its fuel tank, giving it a distinct look. Apart from that, the overall sharp looks remain the same as the standard 4RR. 
 

Engine Specifications

The Kawasaki ZX-4RR Special Edition model’s major highlight remains its unique powertrain. Even though the engine on this bike is just 399cc, the setup includes a 4-cylinder that powers this bike. The engine is capable of belting out a max power output of 76 BHP @ 14,000 RPM & 37.6 NM @ 12,000 RPM. This engine is further tuned to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch & a bi-directional quick shifter.

Will Kawasaki ZX-4RR Special Edition Launch in India?

It is highly unlikely that Kawasaki will be launching this special edition in the Indian market. However, the standard Ninja ZX-4R bike is available for a stellar price tag of Rs 8.49 lakhs.
