India’s Adventure Riders Rejoice: Honda’s ADV is Coming!

We anticipate that the Honda CB300F-inspired bike could be a game-changer in the market.

India is a perfect place for fast adventure tourers. They have the practicality of high-ground clearance and suspension travel. They also have the thrill of a powerful engine. Honda wants to join this segment with an ADV that takes inspiration from the CB300F.

This means the bike may not be as fast as we expected, but it would have a smooth and manageable engine for touring. We hope that it is not just a cosmetic makeover like the CB200X.

It’s a Honda Hornet 2.0 with a different look, without any features that make an adventure tourer. Suzuki V-Strom SX is a good bike example in this segment. So, we hope Honda improves the CB300X over the CB300F.

With these extra features, this new adventure tourer bike could be a strong contender in the affordable ADV tourer segment. Bikes in this segment are very popular and they have a high selling record. But Honda has a reputation to uphold.

We wish for a reasonable price, but we won’t be shocked if it comes with a very high price tag. The CB300F was too expensive when it came out and it had to lower its price soon after. We hope the CB300X avoids that mistake.
