Honda Launches CB750 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP in India

Honda has officially launched the CB750 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP streetfighter bikes in India. The CB750 Hornet is priced at Rs. 8.59 lakh, while the CB1000 Hornet SP comes in at Rs. 12.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bookings for both bikes are now open at Honda’s premium BigWing dealerships. Moreover, the deliveries for the CB750 Hornet will begin in June 2025. These bikes offer stylish looks, powerful engines, and modern features. Let’s know more about these Honda bikes in detail. 

About Honda CB750 Hornet

The Honda CB750 Hornet is a sharp-looking street bike with bold tank shrouds and LED lighting. It is available in two colours: Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic.

It runs on a 755cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This motor produces 90.52 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The engine uses a 270-degree crank, which gives it a distinct sound and feel. Moreover, the bike features a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

The suspension setup includes Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks and a linked monoshock at the rear. Further, the motorcycle has dual 296mm discs at the front and a 240mm rear disc  with dual-channel ABS.

The CB750 Hornet comes with a five-inch colour TFT screen. It supports Honda RoadSync, Bluetooth navigation, call alerts, and music controls. Riders can also enjoy riding aids like Honda Selectable Torque Control, four ride modes, including Sport, Standard, Rain, and User, and emergency stop signals.

About Honda CB1000 Hornet SP

The CB1000 Hornet SP is Honda’s big step into the litre-class naked bike market in India. It takes on rivals like the Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple.

This bike uses a powerful 999cc, inline-four engine. It delivers 155 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 107 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Like its smaller sibling, it also has a six-speed gearbox.

Moreover, the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP looks aggressive and ready for action. It features a sharp LED projector headlight, a sculpted fuel tank, and a sporty tail section. The chassis is made of steel and uses a Showa SFF-BP fork up front and an Öhlins TTX36 monoshock at the rear. Besides, the bike has twin front discs and a rear disc.

In terms of tech, the CB1000 Hornet SP offers three preset ride modes and two User modes. Riders can fine-tune throttle response and traction control. It also includes a five-inch colour TFT display and full Bluetooth connectivity.
