Honda Launches 2023 Activa 125 with Five New Colour Options in India

The Activa 125, Honda’s 125 cc family scooter in India, has been updated for 2023 with minor changes. The most noticeable difference is the new colour options. The scooter now comes in five colours instead of six. 

The new colour scheme includes the following combinations-  

• Rebel Red Metallic 

• Heavy Gray Metallic

• Pearl Night Star Black

• Mid-Night Blue Metallic

• Pearl Precious White with Salen Silver Metallic.

The 2023 Activa 125 has new features in its semi-digital instrument cluster. Some of these features include an odometer, clock, ECO indicator, and service due indicator. 

It also has a Smart Key system for the H-Smart variant, first seen on the Activa 6G. The Smart Key lets you remotely control the fuel lid, under-seat storage space, and ignition. It also adds Smart Find and anti-theft systems to the scooter.

The engine of the 2023 Activa 125 has been upgraded with the OBD2 system, which will be required from 1 April 2023. The engine’s performance, however, remains the same. 

It has a 123.97 cc, air-cooled motor that produces 8.18 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The scooter has an underbone frame, a 12-10-inch wheel setup, telescopic forks, and a mono-shock. It also has a disc-drum brake option or you can also go for a drum brake option which is comparatively cheaper.

Depending on the model, you can buy the 2023 Honda Activa 125 for as low as Rs 78,920(ex-showroom), or as high as Rs 88,093(ex-showroom). However, this scooter faces competition from the TVS Jupiter 125, Hero Destini 125, and Suzuki Access 125.
