Honda has officially started bookings for the Honda CB500 in India through its BigWing dealerships. The retro style motorcycle was recently unveiled alongside the Honda Rebel 300 and Honda XR 300L. In addition, Honda is expected to launch the CB500 soon, while the other two motorcycles will arrive over the coming months.

The Honda CB500 sits above the popular Honda CB350 range in the company's lineup. It comes with a 501cc air and oil cooled single cylinder engine that produces 27.76 bhp and 43.3 Nm of torque. Moreover, the engine is paired with a five speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.
The motorcycle is expected to deliver strong low end performance along with Honda's well known refinement. Perhaps this combination will appeal to riders who want a relaxed and enjoyable riding experience on both city roads and highways.
The Honda CB500 enters a unique space in the Indian market. It sits between motorcycles like the Honda CB350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350, while remaining below larger models such as the BSA Gold Star 650 and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
In addition, the motorcycle comes with tubeless wire spoke wheels, premium build quality, and classic styling. These features could make it an attractive option for buyers looking for a retro motorcycle with a larger single cylinder engine.
Honda is expected to announce the price, launch date, and complete details of the Honda CB500 soon. Until then, interested buyers can visit their nearest Honda BigWing dealership to place a booking.
