BMW Motorrad India to Increase Prices by Up to 6% From 2026

BMW Motorrad India has confirmed a price increase of up to 6% for its entire BMW motorcycle range. This new pricing policy will take effect starting from 1 January 2026. The decision comes as a result of rising costs in materials and global logistics. Therefore, every model in the current portfolio will see a change in its cost. The brand wants to ensure it maintains its high standards while facing economic shifts. This update impacts both new buyers and long-term fans in India.

Official Statement From BMW Group India

Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India, stated that the pressure from forex has not eased for several months, pointing to the rupee’s sharp depreciation against the US dollar and the euro. He also cited increased input costs tied to raw materials and logistics, adding that the planned hike is aimed at protecting profitability and supporting its dealer partners.
This statement explains the key reasons behind the price correction. Moreover, it highlights that the decision is driven by market conditions. Hence, the revision is part of a broader cost management approach.

Impact on Different BMW Bike Models

Imported motorcycles will likely face the most significant price jumps due to currency changes. These fully built units are very sensitive to global trade and shipping costs. However, even the models made locally in India will see higher price tags. This includes popular bikes like the G 310 RR and the CE 02 electric model. In addition, premium bikes such as the R1300 GS will also become more expensive. Every segment from scooters to racing bikes will be updated soon.

Flexible Finance Plans to Assist Buyers

BMW Financial Services will offer special deals to help customers with these new prices. They plan to provide low interest rates on many of their popular bike models. Moreover, buyers can choose flexible monthly payments to fit their personal budgets. Therefore, owning a premium motorcycle remains possible for many enthusiasts across the country. These financial tools aim to make the buying process much easier for everyone.
