Moreover, TVS expanded its Jupiter 125 lineup with new colour options, while KTM is expected to revise prices across multiple motorcycles. Here is a quick look at the key announcements and updates that shaped the two-wheeler market during the week.

Recent Changes in the Indian Two-Wheeler Market

The Indian motorcycle and scooter market continues to witness regular product updates and new launches. Last week's developments included a new Royal Enfield motorcycle, a Hero commuter bike launch, and updates from TVS, KTM, and Ultraviolette. Together, these announcements highlight the steady pace of activity across the industry.

Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Finally Arrives in India

Royal Enfield Bullet 650

Royal Enfield has launched the much-awaited Bullet 650 in the Indian market. The motorcycle carries an ex-showroom price of Rs. 3,64,865. It was first showcased during Motoverse 2025. However, the launch was delayed several times before reaching dealerships.

The new model continues the traditional styling associated with the Bullet family. Moreover, several design elements resemble the smaller Bullet 350. Power comes from a 647.95cc parallel-twin engine shared with other Royal Enfield 650 motorcycles. The motor produces 34.6 kW and 52.3 Nm of torque. In addition, the engine works with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0

Hero MotoCorp has expanded its commuter motorcycle portfolio with the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. The motorcycle has been introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 86,500.

The new version receives styling revisions and additional equipment. Moreover, Hero claims improved fuel efficiency compared to the previous model. The Hero motorcycle continues with the familiar 124.7cc single-cylinder engine. This model bike generates 10.7 bhp and 10.6 Nm of torque.

Hero claims a mileage figure of 72 kmpl. Furthermore, the idle start-stop system contributes to lower fuel consumption. The motorcycle also receives an Integrated Starter Generator. Hence, the engine starts and restarts are smoother during city rides.

TVS Jupiter 125 Gets New Colour Options

TVS Jupiter 125

TVS Motor Company has refreshed the Jupiter 125 range with two new dual-tone shades. These colours are available exclusively on the DT SXC variant.

The latest additions include Ivory Elite Green and Ivory Matte Copper Bronze. Moreover, these shades aim to provide more choices for scooter buyers. Alongside the update, TVS bikes has increased prices across the Jupiter 125 range by up to Rs. 1,000.

However, there are no mechanical changes to the scooter. The Jupiter 125 continues with the same 124.8 cc air-cooled engine, generating 6.04 kW and 10.5 Nm of torque.

Ultraviolette Tesseract Launch Shifted to 2027

Ultraviolette Tesseract

Ultraviolette has confirmed a revised launch schedule for its upcoming Tesseract electric scooter. Deliveries were expected earlier. However, the company has now moved the launch timeline to January 2027.

According to the brand, customer feedback played an important role in this decision. The scooter was displayed across 30 cities after its concept reveal. Therefore, several changes were made based on public responses.

The Tesseract will be offered with three battery pack choices. These include 3.5kWh, 4kWh, and 6kWh options. Moreover, introductory prices are expected to begin from Rs. 1.45 lakh, ex-showroom.

KTM India is expected to revise prices across most of its motorcycle range. Dealer sources indicate that the updated prices may come into effect from June 1.

The expected revision could affect several motorcycles. These include models starting from the 160 Duke up to the 390 Adventure S. However, larger completely built-up motorcycles are likely to remain unchanged.

The expected increase could range between Rs. 4,000 and Rs. 6,000. Moreover, the final amount may differ depending on the selected motorcycle. KTM has not officially announced the revision yet. However, dealerships are preparing for the anticipated change.
