Pulsar Sales Decline In July 2026

The Pulsar range remained the biggest contributor to Bajaj's domestic sales. However, its total sales dropped to 66,156 units from 79,817 units a year ago.

The sales data shows a mixed performance across different engine categories. Pulsar models in the 151-200cc segment recorded 25,851 units, marking a 60.46% year-on-year increase. Similarly, the 201-250cc Pulsar range grew 56.63%, while the 251-350cc range almost doubled with 99.57% growth.

However, the 111-125cc Pulsar range declined 38.01%, while the 126-150cc range fell 67.09%. Therefore, the growth in larger Pulsar models could not fully offset the decline in smaller engine categories.

Chetak Drives Bajaj EV Sales Growth

The biggest highlight of Bajaj's July sales report was the Chetak electric scooter. It sold 47,184 units compared with 11,584 units in July 2025.

This represents a 307.32% year-on-year growth, making Chetak the second-highest-selling Bajaj model during the month. In addition, its 31.36% share of total domestic sales shows the growing contribution of electric scooters to Bajaj's overall performance.

Dominar And Avenger Sales

The Dominar range also recorded positive growth in July 2026. Sales increased to 2,148 units, up 86.30% from 1,153 units last year.

However, Avenger sales declined 23.71% to 1,120 units. The 201-250cc Avenger recorded 1,120 units, while the 151-200cc version reported no sales in the latest month.

Bajaj Sales Performance In July 2026

Overall, Bajaj Auto's domestic sales grew by 15.66% YoY in July 2026. The strong performance of Chetak played an important role in this growth, while larger Pulsar models and Dominar also posted gains.

However, sales of some popular commuter and smaller Pulsar models declined. Perhaps, the growing contribution from electric scooters and higher-capacity motorcycles could become an important part of Bajaj's sales mix in the coming months.
