Bajaj Auto Sales Rise 5% in September 2026, 4.51 Lakh Units Sold

Bajaj Auto reported a 5% year-on-year (YoY) growth in total two-wheeler sales in September 2026. The company sold 4,51,494 units, compared to 4,30,853 units in September 2025. The growth was mainly supported by exports, which increased by 34%, while domestic sales declined by 12%.

In September 2026, Bajaj’s domestic two-wheeler sales declined by 12%, with 2,39,771 units sold compared to 2,73,188 units in September 2025. This indicates lower sales in the domestic market compared to the same month last year. 

However, the company must be targeting big numbers in the upcoming months. Further, the launch of the new Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 will also impact the sales numbers.

Meanwhile, exports continued to support the company’s overall sales performance. Bajaj exported 2,11,723 units in September 2026, compared to 1,57,665 units in September 2025. This marks a strong 34% YoY growth.

Overall, Bajaj Auto sold 4,51,494 two-wheelers in September 2026. Therefore, the company recorded a 5% increase in total sales compared to September 2025.

Export Growth Supports Overall Sales

Bajaj Auto’s export business remained an important contributor to its overall sales growth in September 2026. While domestic sales declined by 12%, the 34% increase in exports helped the company record overall growth during the month.

On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, Bajaj Auto maintained strong growth from April to September 2026. Domestic sales increased by 6%, with 11,93,963 units sold compared to 11,25,920 units during the same period last year.

Exports recorded a much stronger 47% growth, reaching 13,12,550 units compared to 8,91,858 units in April to September 2025. In addition, total YTD sales stood at 25,06,513 units, showing a 24% increase over 20,17,778 units last year.

Overall Performance Insight

Overall, Bajaj Auto recorded a 5% growth in two-wheeler sales in September 2026. While domestic sales declined, the 34% rise in exports helped drive overall monthly growth. On a YTD basis, total sales also remained higher by 24%, supported by strong export performance.
