Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Z1100 in India at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi), retaining the previous model’s price and specifications. The new model year motorcycle brings no changes to its design, engine, features or mechanical components.
For buyers, this means the existing package continues without an additional price increase. The Z1100 remains a premium naked motorcycle aimed at riders seeking litre class performance and modern electronic aids. Its main rival is the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which costs more.
There are no updates for the 2027 model year. Kawasaki has carried forward the same muscular styling, Sugomi design language and Ebony/Metallic Carbon Gray colour scheme.
The Kawasaki bike continues with its existing hardware and electronics. Buyers should therefore focus on the current bike’s equipment and performance rather than expect new features.
The Kawasaki Z1100 uses a 1,099cc, liquid cooled, inline four cylinder engine. It produces 136 bhp and 113 Nm of torque and is paired with a six speed gearbox.
Key mechanical highlights include:
The motorcycle also gets an assist and slipper clutch. These components remain unchanged for the 2027 model year.
The Z1100 continues with a five inch TFT instrument display. It supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation and smartphone call and message alerts.
Its electronic package includes a five axis IMU, which helps manage rider assistance systems. Other features include:
These systems offer riders more control over the motorcycle’s behaviour. However, the 2027 version does not add any new electronic features.
The 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 costs Rs 12.79 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi), matching the outgoing model. Its key rival, the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, is priced at Rs 13.29 lakh (ex showroom).
Buyers can also consider the Triumph Street Triple 765 R, although it has a smaller engine and a different riding character.
Kawasaki has kept the Z1100 unchanged for 2027, so existing buyers should not expect major upgrades. Its unchanged price and four cylinder engine remain important selling points. Prospective buyers should compare the available features, performance and on road costs before making a decision.
