Honda has revealed the 2026 Africa Twin CRF1100L for global markets with visual updates. The adventure motorcycle receives new paint options & refreshed graphics across all variants. However, the engine, hardware, & core setup remain unchanged. Therefore, the update focuses mainly on styling and variant wise presentation. The Africa Twin range continues to target long distance touring and off road riding. Moreover, the unveiling has raised expectations about the motorcycle’s possible return to India.
The 2026 Honda Africa Twin is offered in three variants globally. The standard model and the electronic suspension version share the same three colour options. These include Grand Prix Red, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, & Pearl Glare White. However, the white shade features golden wheels for a distinct look. In addition, the electronic suspension variant uses Showa’s electronically adjustable suspension for better ride control.
The Adventure Sports version stands apart with a more touring focused appearance. It comes in Matt Iridium Gray Metallic and Pearl Glare White shades. Moreover, both colours feature HRC Tricolore graphics for a sporty finish. The variant continues to focus on comfort and long-distance travel.
Mechanically, the Africa Twin remains unchanged for 2026. It has a 1,084cc parallel twin engine generating 100.5 bhp and 112 Nm torque. Moreover, buyers can choose between a 6 speed manual gearbox and Honda’s DCT system.
The Africa Twin was earlier sold in India but was discontinued on the basis of BS6 Phase 2 norms. However, Honda may reintroduce the 2026 model later this year. Hence, both standard and Adventure Sports variants could return.
