Yamaha has launched the 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0 in India, and it comes with exciting updates. The popular streetfighter is now priced at Rs 1.69 lakh for the standard version and Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec DLX variant.
Yamaha has started bookings for the 2025 MT-15 across India. Deliveries are expected to begin soon at dealerships in major cities. Moreover, the bike competes with models like the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Honda CB Hornet 2.0. Let’s know more about this motorcycle in detail.
The 2025 Yamaha MT-15 V2 now gets a full-colour TFT instrument console. This new display supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation through Yamaha’s Y-Connect app.
Riders can view fuel consumption, maintenance alerts, and even parking location on the mobile app. There’s also a cool leaderboard feature for tracking your rides and comparing with friends. The new cluster adds a modern touch to the bike’s cockpit.

Yamaha has introduced three new colour options to keep things stylish. You now get Ice Storm, Vivid Violet Metallic, and Metallic Silver Cyan in the lineup. These shades add a vibrant, youthful feel that many buyers will love. The new colours are available along with Metallic Black and other existing options. The compact, muscular body design of the MT-15 remains unchanged and still looks bold.
The mechanical setup of the MT-15 Version 2.0 is unchanged for 2025. It continues to be powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The motor produces 18.4 bhp and 14.1 Nm of torque. It gets Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, which makes power delivery smooth and efficient.
The six-speed gearbox comes with a slipper clutch and standard traction control. This helps in safer and smoother gear shifts, even during aggressive riding. The MT-15 uses a Deltabox frame paired with a USD fork at the front. At the rear, it features a monoshock setup for better balance and control.
Moreover, the motorcycle comes with front and rear disc brakes, keeping things safe at higher speeds. At just 141 kg, the MT-15 remains lightweight and agile on urban roads. It continues to offer a sharp and nimble riding experience, ideal for city riding and short highway trips.
